MycoDea is an experimental installation that combines elements of technology, religion, and multiple media forms in an innovative artistic expression. It incorporates found objects, natural materials, AI-generated moving images, and interactive sounds.

In Part I, the project aims to digitally preserve found mushrooms for virtual immortality, exploring beliefs, fantasies, symbiosis, and non-human sensory experiences inspired by the fungal realm. Drawing from research on mushroom culture folklore and ancient rituals, four AI fungal fairies share divine teachings, guiding participants through contemplative rituals.

In Part II, the interactive Bare Conductive Touch Board establishes playful connections between humans and non-humans, invoking field recording sounds of the woodland and imaginary mycelial languages. Artists involved in the project include Sanji Yang, Jenny Jih, and Pocoyo.
